Vorselaar, country of birth of Bart Wellens, hosted the Final Act of the 2009-2010 edition SUPERPRESTIGE. The math left a remote possibility even Sven Nys, but in reality the odds for the cannibal of Baal were limited to a flicker. Once again, the cold has characterized the race day with a dusting of snow covering the path, made slippery by ice.
Vantornout Klaas, as often happens, is shot like a spring to fire the starter ahead of fellow color and Vanthourenhout STYBAR. Just STYBAR took command of operations in the first half around trying to create a vacuum. Albert, finally leading to a departure of a good standard, has given way to world champion withdrew from STYBAR his intent. Sven Vanthourenhout took advantage of attacking and gaining a few seconds. Another specialist in the ice, Radomir Simunek, launches in pursuit of the fugitive, grabbed a short time. Behind the top two, a lively Christian Heule controls the tracking wheel with Vantornout, D. In the sprint for third place Simunek had the better of Nys. Dieter Vanthourenhout fifth place ahead of Klaas Vantornout. Jonathan Page, the star of a good race and came seventh in anticipation of a dozen seconds Heule. Poland's Mariusz Gil, ninth at the finish line, took the first placing in the top 10 of his career in a race SUPERPRESTIGE. The local favorite, Wellens, who won the day before to Eeklo, finished tenth.
